However, the most effective time of doing yoga is morning as well as evening. But, one can practice yoga at any time to get health benefits.
Here, we are presenting g you different types of yoga meal or snacks for practicing yoga. The reason behind this is your body will need different nutrients if you perform yoga in an early morning or during the late evening. Follow this diet plan as per your yoga time to get the best result from your activity.
Morning Class
If you are in a habit to perform yoga between 4-8am, you are most likely to go relatively empty stomach on the mat. After the yoga class, you should drink at least 500ml water to re-hydrate the body. Your body will require a little carbohydrate, fat, and protein. There is a list which should be included in your post-yoga meal.
• Sprouted toast, few scrambled tempeh, veggies with coconut water.
• Hemp or chia seeds, a smoothie with fruits.
• A bowl of quinoa or oatmeal cooked in almond milk with walnuts and berries.
It will help you to get a balanced diet which will help you to back up from the activity.
Evening Class:
If you are going for an early evening class, then you should consume black coffee before yoga. To refuel your body after the yoga here are few dinner options that will not ruin your sleep.
• A bowl of soup with beans/lentils, veggies and quinoa or barley.
• A rice bowl with tahini or nut based sauce along with loads of veggies.
• Sprouted grain wrap along with salsa, guacamole, and black beans.
• Hummus along with veggies and sprouted grain crackers.
• It will help you to get a balanced post-yoga meal with some protein, carbohydrates and fats.

There are numerous versions of Sun Salutation, However it will be best to perform one specified version regularly for excellent results.
