It might be a reality but a surprising truth. Everyone has hemorrhoids (clumps, masses, and cushions of tissue) present in our body. All is good until the hemorrhoidal cushions become big because of inflammation. This is the point where we have piles.

Piles are swellings which develop around and inside the back passage. Symptoms vary between persistent and painful to temporary and mild. In some of the cases, symptoms settle down without any medication.

In the majority of circumstances, piles are successfully cured with a proper fluid intake, over-the-counter medications, and by following a fibrous diet. Piles are also removed surgically. Out of ten people suffering from piles, one needs surgical intervention.

Despite great achievements in health care, a large population is still struggling with the discomfort and pain that piles bring in its wake. It is important to understand the cause behind piles if one wants to avoid or speed up the healing procedure. An early detection and prevention control the condition before the harm.

Causes Behind Painful Piles
1. Lack of Nutritious Diets
Lack of healthy diet, particularly fibrous intake results into constipation and strain amid the bowel movement. Spicy food, higher quantities of meat, junk food, and lower fluid intake results into constipation, leading to piles.

2. Obesity

Over weight is a major cause of numerous of diseases, including piles. Additional body weight applies excess pressure on the muscles of your anal wall. This extra pressure causes nerves to protrude out of the layers.

3. Pregnancy

Along with extra weight, fetus also tends to put extra stress over the rectal veins, resulting into swollen veins and arteries, causing to hemorrhoids. Some other factors such as a change in eating habits, sitting for long periods and lack of physical activity also leads to developing piles.

4. Stress

Bowel movement is usually related to mental wee-being. Stress can have a negative effect on the regular bowel movement. This can result in constipation leading to piles.

5. Sitting Jobs
People who work at a desk and sitting on a chair for hours are more prone to piles. While sitting at the same place for a longer period increases the pressure on your buttocks increasing the risk of piles.

6. Strain During Bowel Movement

It is the primary reason for hemorrhoids. The strain during the bowel movement pushes the blood into arteries and rectal veins. This results into the swollen veins, leading to feeble and weak anal muscles. If the muscles become weaker, they start bulging out of the walls.

7. Constipation

The strain faced by people in the toilet is because of persistent constipation. In the process of ejecting the nerves swell and many times ruptures. Ruptured hemorrhoid starts to bleed if the condition worsens.

8. Excess intake of Tea, Coffee
The lack of fibrous food into our diet and cups and cups of green tea, tea or coffee are disastrous for the regular bowel movements.

Instant relief♀

Although there are preventions, if you are suffering from hemorrhoid than here are few instant relief tips which should be practiced to get rid of painful piles.

1. Plenty of high fiber foods
To cure your hemorrhoids, it is vital that you have to prevent constipation. This can only be achieved by eating loads of high-fiber foods and fruits. You can have a plenty of fibrous fruits such as peaches, apples, and papaya.

2. Super Seeds
Eat plenty of flaxseeds, chia seeds, and quinoa. Soak one tablespoon of chia seeds in a glass of water for 1 hour. Drink this water with seeds anytime. As per the clinical studies, a diet rich in fiber can reduce the damage by 50 percent.
You can also dry roast flax seeds and grind it to the powder form. Take a tablespoon of the powder and mix it with one glass of water. You can consume it at any time to get instant relief from constipation.

3. Chamomile Tea
You can consume chamomile along with a few drops of Badam Rogan Tel (almond oil).

4. Liquid Intake
To get rid of constipation, drink a minimum amount of 2-3 liters of water daily. You can have a tablespoon of Aloe-Vera gel with a glass of water. This helps you to provide instant relief from constipation.

5. Ashwagandha Tablet
Don’t forget to consume Ashwagandha tablet at bed time.

6. Apple Cider Vinegar
Drink a teaspoon of apple cider vinegar, multiple times in a day to get relief from painful piles. You can add something to make the taste bearable if you don’t taste the vinegar alone.
7. Bathing Salt
To get relief, you can mix bathing salt (Epsom salt) into the water during your bath. You can also mix the salt into water tub and sit for some time.

Prevention is better than cure

If you want to keep constipation and piles at bay, then follow these simple but effective lifestyle changes.
There is a reason behind wide prevalent of hemorrhoids in the western countries but not in the Middle East, Asia, and Africa. It is just the sitting toilet. Human beings are supposed to evacuate waste in squatting position. Instead of using western seats go for squatting pan, Anglo-Indian Type Toilet.

1. Go for 15 minutes brisk walk or moderate exercise.

2. Replace your food with healthy, fibrous and nutritious diet

3. Eat your meals slowly
Make sure to chew one bite for 32 times.

If you are suffering from piles, it will be better to consult a doctor, if there is a need of medication then go for it.
